Ekşi (áskhu - ἄσχυ) kelimesi Beekes'in iddia ettiği gibi İran dilinden alıntı değil, İskit Türkçesinden alıntıdır. Günümüzde ekşi olarak kullanırız. Heredot'ta (GR) geçer.
NOT: Beekes kitabında tüm dilleri baz almış, ancak Türkçeye (eski-yeni ve lehçeleri) hiçbir şekilde yer vermemiş!

Beekes' book is based on all languages, but he does not include Turkish (old-new and dialects) in any way!
ἄσχυ (áskhu - ἄschy) = ekşi (Eng. sour), TR of etymology (and not a LW from Iran as Beekes claimed). Unfortunately, this misidentification of origin stems from the fact that some scholars consider Scythians as "Iranian-speaking", "Iranian tribe". However, Scythians are Turks and spoke Turkish.
